323 Hallway

A window pole hanging from the picture rail (room 137) - something most classrooms had, used to open the top window as to let some heat out.
While the old windows were replaced, the woodwork surrounding the old windows was kept.
The view is of the other court yard which was made when State Street Junior High was added in the 1921.  It  was later renamed Classical Junior High in 1934 when Central High became Classical High School.
The right window's view features the Temple Street Spiral stairway and the left window features the hallway and Loge which ran along side the auditorium.
